Routes that sit outside the points system
Not every UK route runs on points. The Join Ship visa for seafarers, the Youth Mobility Scheme, and standard visitor visas all fall outside the PBS, with no licence and no points test. If a role fits one of those, you skip the sponsorship machinery entirely.
